Aturan Verb + s/es
- Subjek orang ketiga tunggal (he, she, it) memakai verb + s/es
- Berakhiran o, s, x, ch, sh → tambah es: go→goes, watch→watches
- Berakhiran konsonan + y → ganti y jadi ies: study→studies
- Menggunakan does untuk subjek he/she/it dan do untuk I/you/we/they
Kalimat dengan To Be
Untuk menyatakan keadaan, gunakan to be: am (I), is (he/she/it), are (you/we/they).
- I am a student.
- She is very kind.
- They are in the classroom.
Adverb of Frequency
Kata keterangan frekuensi memberi tahu seberapa sering suatu kebiasaan terjadi: always, usually, often, sometimes, rarely, never. Letaknya sebelum kata kerja utama.
- I always drink water in the morning.

- We usually have lunch together.
